Dr. Einhorn was the chairman of the Swedish Co-operative Ovarian Cancer Study Group. She was President of the International Gynecologic Cancer Society. She was an active investigator and published almost 300 scientific publications including books and scientific articles.
She was appointed an honorary fellowof the American College of Radiology and an honorary member of the Radiological Society of North America. After retirement in 1992, Dr. Einhorn was involved with the Cancer Society in Stockholm and in continuing investigation in gynaecologic oncology and ovarian cervical and uterine cancer.
She died on May 10, 2002.
