Cancer Futures was an illustrated scientific magazine published every two months whose copyright was combined with the publishing house Springer France. The magazine was lounched to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the School. Cancer Futures answered the demands of many of the School's alumni, comprising of interviews and reports rather than traditional scientific articles, hence the magazine's motto "Education and Knowledge Through People and Facts". Little more than a year after its launch, Cancer Futures was already well known in European oncology circles and famous for its cover stories that were dedicated to leaders in the fight against cancer. The last issue of the magazine was published in Spring 2004 and has now been substituted by the new ESO editorial, CancerWorld Magazine.
