ACE Reporter Award 
The (Awarding Cancer Enlightment) ACE Reporter Award is the only one of its kind to honour oncology journalism. The award was created by ESO to encourage journalists across the world to improve the quality of their cancer stories. The 3rd ACE Reporter Award will be open to consumer journalists from around the world, whose particular challenge it is to provide the general public and cancer patients with independent, accurate, clear and timely information on advances in cancer prevention, research and development, while providing practical help and advice - all of which ultimately results in informed and enlightened patients and public. PRIZE The winner of ACE Reporter Award 2005 will receive from ESO: - Prize of €10,000 - All expenses-paid trip for the winner and his/her partner to collect the award during the 13 European Cancer Conference (ECCO) - 30 October / 3 November 2005, in Paris, France - An article by the journalist will be published in ESO's scientific magazine Cancer World The ACE Reporter Award is an original initiative of the European School of Oncology and is funded by private donors. The worldwide promotion of the award is made in exclusive partnership with Eli Lilly and Company.
